In Ottawa the nationβs capital the festivities will be kicked off with a 21-gun salute at the Parliament Buildings and a flypast of the Royal Canadian Air Force π οΈ. Immediately following the flypast, the big Canada Day parade will begin π¨π¦. The parade will feature floats marching bands and over a hundred dignitaries such as The Governor General Prime Minister and members of the Canadian Armed Forces π οΈ.
Other popular events include the Canada Day music festival, which will take place in downtown Ottawa, and the Canada Day fireworks show which will light up the night sky π π π¨π¦.
